1. Who we are

We are an Independent Internet & Broadband Support Service and the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We do not process payments or manage accounts.

We do not provide customer support for mobile networks. For billing or technical issues, please contact your provider directly.

Financial Information: We will never ask for your bank details or credit card number during a call.

Data Usage: By using our service, you agree that we may share your contact details and plan preferences with our partner providers solely to facilitate the redemption of your referral voucher.

2. The data we collect

• When you call us – your name, phone number, address, the plan you are interested in and anything you tell the advisor.
• Credit and identity data – where you apply for a pay monthly phone contract, so we can carry out status and affordability checks.
• Site usage data – pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and which deal you clicked before calling.

3. How we use it

We use your data to answer your enquiry, quote and set up pay monthly phones, SIM only deals and pay as you go plans, run credit checks where relevant, apply Clubcard Prices and Clubcard points to your account, prevent fraud, meet our legal and regulatory duties, and improve this site.

4. Our lawful bases

We rely on performance of a contract (setting up and running your plan), legal obligation (regulatory and anti-fraud requirements), legitimate interests (improving our service, preventing fraud, non-intrusive analytics) and consent (marketing and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time).

5. Calls

Calls to 0800 007 4924 are free from UK landlines and mobiles and may be recorded or monitored for training, quality and security purposes. Call recordings are retained for as long as needed for those purposes and then deleted.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site work, and – only with your consent – analytics and marketing cookies that help us understand which deals people are interested in. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.

7. Who we share it with

We share data with service providers who act on our instructions, including our network partner, credit reference and fraud prevention agencies, our recommended trade in partner Assurant where you trade in a device, and delivery partners. We do not sell your personal data.

8. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the UK, we use approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

9. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 12 months if you do not go on to take a plan, and for the length of your contract plus six years where you do, to meet accounting and regulatory requirements.

• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Ask us to delete data we no longer need
• Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing
• Request portability of data you gave us
• Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office

11. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls and staff training. We will never ask for your full password or PIN. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from us, do not respond – call us on the number above.

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies.
